Ghirao Incorporated was founded in 2018 on a simple conviction: that a law firm is measured by how it performs when the stakes are highest.
From the start, litigation has been at the heart of our practice. What began as a focused litigation practice has grown, matter by matter, into a firm trusted with some of the most complex and consequential disputes in the country. Today we regularly go up against the largest law firms in South Africa.
As our reputation grew, so did the scale of our instructions. We now act for multinational conglomerates, state entities, and high-profile individuals and corporates in high-value commercial, constitutional and cross-border disputes. Our work increasingly reaches beyond South Africa's borders. We run international litigation and coordinate with foreign counsel to protect our clients' interests wherever they operate.
Our growth has never come at the cost of what defined us at the beginning. Every matter is treated as if it were our only matter and is run on strategy built around the client's best interests.
